Materials management and spare parts
Uhde Services provides a full range of materials management services for plants in operation, from procurement and supply to the stocking and stock management of all spare parts.
Materials management:
- Optimisation of spare parts stocks with respect to the interchangeability and standardisation of equipment
- Optimum adaptation of spare parts stocks to the required plant availability
- Implementation of computerised materials management systems
Stocking:
- Storage of essential spares in proprietary Uhde stores
- Optimisation and management of plant operators' spare parts stores
- Logistics and materials management for plant operators and owners
Procurement and supply:
- Procurement of OEM spare parts
- Engineering and procurement of alternative spare
parts for obsolescent equipment
- Express delivery, even of spare parts which are not
kept in stock as a result of excellent contacts with
suppliers
- Procurement of consumables (catalysts, chemicals,
lubricants, etc.)
- Supply of all materials and components ordered in accordance with
various different Incoterms (FOB, CIF, etc.)
- Reasonable shipping terms due to large total volumes
