With its acquisition of Inventa-Fischer, now Uhde Inventa-Fischer, Uhde has considerably enhanced its technology portfolio in the field of polyester/polyamide plastics, filaments and synthetic fibres. Uhde Inventa-Fischer is an innovative, flexible and customer-driven engineering company with 160 employees.
The company is the technological leader in the design and construction of plants for the production of polyester, polyamide and special polymers, including their subsequent processing into pack-aging materials (bottle polyester, film) and engineering plastics, as well as filaments, staple fibres and technical yarns.
In the field of biodegradable plastics Uhde Inventa-Fischer has developed a new, extremely economical technology for the production of polylactic acid. The technology portfolio of the company also comprises proprietary processes for the production of formaldehyde and formaldehyde resins. Process equipment specialities include its polycondensation reactors and dryers for polyester and polyamide chips.
One of Uhde Inventa-Fischer's core competences is in process development and optimisation as well as in the very specific design of its reactors.
